A&T Systems Awarded $5b Gsa Connections Ii Contract
October 19, 2011
A&T Systems has won a share of the General Services Administration’s $5 billion Connections II contract for telecommunications and other network support. Nine of the twenty-one companies are small businesses, the rest fall into the full-and-open category. The companies will compete for task orders under the 10-year contract, which has a four-year base and six one-year options. GSA wants the contract to be the government’s one-stop shop for buying telecommunications, network and communications solutions. The agency will use the contract to help implement its Networx telecommunications contract. Among the solutions are communications and networking, building/campus facility preparation, operations, administration and management, and customer service and technical support.
